Business Policies, Procedures, and Pricing - 2008

The following document outlines operational policies, procedures, and pricing for A Figure of Speech, Inc. effective January 1, 2008. 

Hours ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Standard business hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Additional hours are available depending on project needs and deadlines...

Billing Policy--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A 50% deposit is required to begin any job (unless otherwise agreed upon in writing). 

Final payment is due upon receipt of the final product or completion of the contracted service.  For balances carried over 30 days, a fee of 1.5% will be assessed per month.

We accept check or credit cards.  Please make checks payable to A Figure of Speech, Inc.

Turnaround Times--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turnaround times are dependent on our production/deadline schedule; however, we strive to complete projects, Web site edits, and change requests in a timely manner.  Deadlines and timeframes will be discussed and agreed upon by A Figure of Speech, Inc. and the client for every deliverable.

In the event of an emergency deadline that requires us to rearrange our production schedule or work outside of normal business hours (nights/weekends), rush charges may apply.  Rush charges are up to 50% of the total cost of the job, depending on the scope of work.

Published Rates----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Consulting Fees - Consulting services are billed at $90/hour unless agreed upon by a separate contract.  Consulting services focus on strategic initiatives and bigger-picture/long-term marketing campaigns.  Discounts are available for long-term work with a retainer contract.

Graphic Design Fees - Graphic design services are billed at $80/hour unless agreed upon by a separate contract for a specific deliverable as outlined below.  Graphic design services focus on tactical projects/deliverables.

Please refer to the pricing schedule below for fees related to specific deliverables.  Discounts are available for campaigns that include long-term work with multiple deliverables.

Note that these fees are for standard designs/specs.  Specialty designs or custom requests will result in a custom bid after the scope of work is finalized.  Fees are for design services and basic editing.  If you need additional services (i.e., copywriting, photo editing, photography, printing, etc.), additional charges will apply.
